What you need to know
YOUR BENEFITS is designed to help you take care of your physical, mental, emotional and financial health and offers flexibility across three areas.
Here are the key things you need to know
- Every year, Agnico Eagle provides you with flexible dollars that can be used to build the coverage that best suits your needs and situation.
- You choose how you want to use your flexible dollars, whether you want to increase your health coverage and/or allocate your flexible dollars towards your health and wellness and savings needs.
- You have two coverage options (Gold and Gold+) to choose from for Health and Dental Benefits and Long-Term Disability. You can select different options for each benefit.
- Agnico Eagle covers the cost of Gold options. You pay the difference in cost for the Gold+ coverage you select using your flexible dollars or through payroll deductions.
- Your coverage status options are single, couple, single parent and family. You must select the same one for Health and Dental Benefits.

IMPORTANT
Please note that Temporary employees with benefits are eligible for some coverage under YOUR BENEFITS. Consult the Program Summary and pay close attention to the footnotes to understand the nuances of your coverage if this applies to you.
Key actions to take
- Keep informed. Take time to read through the information on this microsite, including the Program Summary and Transition Guide. These resources will help you understand YOUR BENEFITS and make informed decisions when choosing your options during enrolment.
- Attend an education session. There will be time for you to ask questions and get answers. Recordings of the sessions will be available under the “Learning Centre” section of the microsite.
- Review enrolment emails from our carriers. You’ll receive enrolment emails from GreenShield (Health and Wellness) and Manulife (Savings). These emails will provide step-by-step instructions on how to enrol. Visit the enrolment section of the microsite for more information.
- ENROL ONLINE starting September 2. You’ll have until October 3, 2025, to enrol in the Health and Wellness program and until October 17 to enrol in the Savings program.
- Enjoy YOUR BENEFITS starting November 1, 2025.
